Meadownoise is music made by Matt Glassmeyer, a Nashville native. The songs are recorded and mixed at Matt's home using a computer, a 1/4" tape machine, a mix of fiction and non-fiction lyrics, and an assortment of processors and instruments loosely in this order from most to least:
vocals, drums, shuitar, percussion, Minimoog, Wurlitzer, guitar/low guitar, bass, tuba, piano, drum machine, contra-alto clarinet, samples, buzzaphone, tenor saxophone, cornet, clarinet, trombone, accordion, Rhodes, melodica, alto and bari saxophones, processed pandeiro, Casios, veena, and cello. The recordings are mastered by Jonathan Russell at Masterfonics.
Currently, Matt sings and plays live using a Wurlitzer and shuitar (see shuitar.com).
